We’re seeking an experienced IT Network and Systems Administrator who can join us on this journey, using his or her technological skills to make us more efficient. In this role, you will analyze our current network and server systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, InfoSec solutions, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Responsibilities and Activities

  • Manage network architecture for security, performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Installation and repair of physical network equipment
  • Diagnostics and remediation of network failures, attacks, and attempted security breaches
  • Maintain corporate and production monitoring systems
  • Maintain relationships with hardware and software vendors
  • Produce and audit documentation as required for Information Security
  • Develop and validate disaster recovery plans for corporate and production resources
  • Plan and execute internal and external audits on a regular basis (HIPAA/HITRUST)

  • Continued learning to keep current with emerging threats and new technologies
  • Liaise with other departments to represent IT concerns and responsibilities
  • Designing and executing training programs and workshops for staff

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT management
  • Configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and VPNs (Dell/Ubiquiti/Watchguard)
  • Configuration mail servers (Exchange, iMail, Barracuda)
  • Administration of Microsoft Hyper-V Hypervisors
  • Administration of storage servers and backup systems
  • Administration of production servers (MS Server 2008-2019 standard, datacenter, and core, Ubuntu)
  • Maintenance of telephony systems (Avaya, 3CX)
  • Maintenance of DNS registrations and Certificates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Experience with any of the following applications: JIRA, Confluence, Hipchat, Bomgar, RightAnswers, IssueTrack, ChroniCall, Grafana, IIS, FTP, ElasticSearch, SQL Server, Zoom, SilentFax
  • Pertinent professional certifications
