OPIE Cares Partners With Life South To Save 72 Live

OPIE Software is constantly striving to better serve the O&P field and the greater community. The OPIE cares program is a new initiative with the goal of giving back to the community through donation events and volunteering activities.

OPIE Cares has proudly partnered with Life South Community Blood to host its first Blood Drive on March 29, 2019. In order for the Blood Drive to have been considered a success, OPIE needed 17 donors – but managed to gain 24 whole blood donations! Since each donation of blood can save up to three lives – OPIE helped save 72 lives during the Friday event! Thank you to everyone who helped support the OPIE Cares event! Find out more about how you can help your community

OPIE Cares will be hosting another Blood Drive on Friday June 14st from 8 AM – 5 PM in front of the office headquarters – 3870 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville, FL. All donors will receive a recognition item, free snacks, and a free cholesterol screening. Donors must be 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and show photo I.D. 16-year olds require written parental permission.
