Melissa Edwards is a seasoned professional in the O&P field with over 16 years of expertise in business strategy, healthcare management, and insurance administration. With a distinguished career spanning multiple industries, Melissa has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive organizational growth, optimize operational efficiency, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and compliance.
At present, Melissa has collaborated with the MOZN Solutions team to assist clinics across the country. United by a common goal of enhancing process improvement, optimizing workflows, and ensuring payer contracting and compliance. Their mission is to support healthcare practices by developing tailored solutions to tackle the challenges they encounter by integrating business strategy with industry knowledge to enable healthcare organizations to reach their objectives and function effectively.
Previously serving at Virginia Prosthetics & Orthotics, she has successfully led initiatives that improved revenue collection rates, streamlined compliance processes, and reduced overhead costs, all while managing a workforce of 60+ employees across eight locations. Her leadership is defined by a results-driven approach, a keen eye for operational improvement, and a commitment to fostering collaborative team environments.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing from Ferrum College, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List. She is highly proficient in electronic medical records, HIPAA compliance, Medicare Supplier standards, and Various business intelligence tools, including Power BI.
Beyond her professional achievements, Melissa is passionate about community service, actively volunteering with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Her dedication to excellence, both professionally and philanthropically, underscores her commitment to making a meaningful impact in every role she undertakes.

Michael Hanna
Michael Hanna, MPA, CDME, is a Provider Relations Senior Analyst for CGS Administrators, the DME MAC for Jurisdictions B and C. Michael has been involved in the Medicare program since 2007. He is the CGS liaison for both the Jurisdiction B and Jurisdiction C councils. He is the Community Coach for multiple states in Jurisdiction C where he is active in their state association meetings and other educational events held in those states. Michael also participates in several CERT initiatives, working with CMS staff and other MACs to help reduce the overall CERT error rate. He holds two degrees from the University of Missouri.

Lesleigh Sisson
Lesleigh Sisson, founder and CEO of O&P Insight, started her career in the orthotic and prosthetic profession in 1992. While working in O&P administrative and clinical support roles, Lesleigh recognized the desire to help businesses not only provide excellent patient care, but maintain a healthy, profitable operation. Over the years, Lesleigh has curated her experience to provide support across the spectrum of businesses that exist in the O&P industry, hoping to advance the profession through harmonizing continuity of care from manufacturing to patient care, and even the payer relationship. She is an American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter of orthotics and mastectomy and received the Sam E. Hammontree, CP Business Education Award in 2018. She is currently a published white paper author and is certified in Patrick Lencioni’s Working Genius curriculum, allowing her to enable others to leverage their leaderships skills and enhance their teams.
