Erin is the Founder and President of CBS Medical Billing & Consulting whose simple mission is to partner with Orthotic and Prosthetic practices providing them with the most efficient revenue cycle management possible. Since its inception in 2010, CBS has improved the financial health of O and P practices around the country and grown to a staff of 50. 
 
Erin has a unique background which has provided her with experience in many aspects of O&P. Her 30-year career began as an assistant to a small single CPO practice in her hometown and fell in love with this profession. She quickly became the practice manager learning all she could. With a desire to do more, she attended a 2-year O&P technical school and became an ABC certified technician. 
 
When working as a technician in a larger practice, her organizational skills quickly led to her becoming lab manager and when that O&P practice ran into financial trouble, she was asked to call on some claims. In 2 days’ time, she learned their patient management software, ran every report she could and discovered hundreds of thousands of dollars tied up or completely lost to billing errors. She then became practice manager there which resulted in record profits the following year. 
 
Erin went on to become a Vice President at Boston Brace International where her focus was on compliance. Erin also served as Executive Director on the N.E. Chapter of the American Academy of O&P for over 10 years. Her love for this profession has grown stronger every year. She is also currently a contributor for the O&P Edge which allowed her to share success strategies with their readers.
